The Funen Painters: ‘The Good Life’

12/11-2016

29/5-2018

What is ‘the good life’? In which contexts do we experience those ‘special moments’ and when is life at its best? The Funen Painters’ works are full of such perfect moments and they show us that our idea of the good life has perhaps not substantially changed during the last 100 years. With “The Funen Painters: The Good Life” Faaborg Museum has created a special exhibition from the collection which shows the Funen Painters’ relevance today by offering their ideas on what the good life means: from experiences amongst close family members and in the local community, of nature and travel and simply eating and drinking well.
